Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival, organized in Krakow since 1994, is the oldest international film event in Poland confronting the achievements of art and film school students from all over the globe with the works of the authors of artistic animation including professional, student and independent filmmakers. The following Prizes will be awarded at the Etiuda 2017 competition: 1. Grand Prix – Golden Dinosaur and a cash prize 2. Silver Dinosaur 3. Bronze Dinosaur Special Golden Dinosaur for the Best Set of Films (at least 3 films participating in the competition), submitted by one of the Film Schools. Award for the best cinematography for the students from the countries of the Visegrad Group (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) in the form of in-kind contribution of 5 000 PLN funded by Heliograf company. The Jury has also the right to award the Honorary Diplomas. The Directors of the Festival shall decide on the right and mode of awarding the Special Awards, including the Audience Award and the Student Jury Award. Under certain artistically justified circumstances, the Artistic Director of the Festival also reserves the right to award a “The Great Underestimated” Prize to the most undervalued film of the competition. ETIUDA&ANIMA 2017, 21ST–26TH NOVEMBER 2017 Regulations of the competition of student etudes – Etiuda §1 ETIUDA festival competition allows the applicants to submit student etudes and graduate films (excluding animated films) made in film and artistic schools as part of the didactic process between years 2015-2017. The films should not exceed 30 minutes in length and need to be submitted to the festival in one of the following formats: Blu-ray, DVD-video or digital file (mp4, mov). §2 The Festival Office shall collect the incoming competition registrations from 10th May until 31st July, 2017.
